What I was feeling when I hit Myrtle
I felt crazy, sad, scared, insane, depressed, and terrified. I didn't know she was going to run in front of the car and I don't even know she is. Why did she run at the car as if she knew who the person was inside? Why did she seem familiar? I've never thought of myself as a woman who could be known as hitting someone. I ran away from the crime scene. How could I not? I panicked. I don't want to go to jail, I am not a woman who can survive in jail. What would everyone think of me? No, no one can ever know about this, this will always stay a secret. I will never get caught and someone else will take the blame for it. It wasn't really my fault, it was hers! She ran at the car. Yes, that's it! She ran at the car and I couldn't simply think fast enough to stop the car. I will not get caught. No one will ever know

How could you not tell anyone about this! Yeah, I knew, and how Gatsby took the blame for you. I cannot believe that you would let someone you loved take the fall, and not even feel bad about it. Don't pretend it wasn't your fault, it was yours, yet you didn't even stop. I don't ever want to look at you, ever again, you were just as much of a part as George and Tom, and I can never forgive you

ReplyDeleteHow dare you run into me with Gatsby's car! You have killed the prettiest person in the world. And you know what? I ran in front of the car because I wanted to be with your husband! Yeah, I said it! Your husband has been cheating on you with me for years. How does that feel? I really hope you get caught for killing me because you deserve it. And don't worry, you're actions will haunt you forever. Congratulations on being the worst driver in history.

That hurt like crazy!! How could you do that to me?!? The world just lost an angel because of you! Now, I'll haunt you for the rest of your life!
